*Fatum* is an LP released in 2027 by the French heavy psychedelic rock trio Bright Curse. The album falls within the genres of heavy psych and psychedelic rock, combining dark atmospheres with powerful, heavy instrumentation and a broader emotional spectrum. It marks the band’s return after a long hiatus, with a revamped line-up and a more versatile approach to their sound. The record strikes a balance between powerful, heavier passages and quiet, stripped-back sections, creating a dynamic contrast. Bright Curse also expands its palette with cello and guest vocals from a female singer, adding texture and depth to the band’s established psychedelic foundation. *Fatum* feels both intense and contemplative, shifting between sombre heaviness, melancholic restraint and expressive, atmospheric rock.
