The long sold-out debut from Seedy Jeezus returns on vinyl, capturing the raw foundations of a trio that quickly earned a reputation as one of Melbourne’s essential live acts. Formed in 2010, the band built their identity on extended musical freedom, heavy riff structures and a strong sense of live interaction — music that constantly shifts, stretches and reconfigures itself in real time.
Recorded with Tony Reed (Mos Generator) at Melbourne’s legendary venue The Tote, the album was deliberately tracked with a live-first approach. Minimal overdubs and a focus on real performance energy give the record a direct, unpolished character, reflecting the band’s natural stage dynamics rather than a studio-constructed version of their sound.
