The Danish prog band Rainbow Band was nothing short of a supergroup, established in early 1970 by local leading rock and jazz artists. Their self-titled debut was released in December, before lead vocalist Lars Bisgaard was suddenly replaced by Alan Mortesen. This magnificent opus is a must have for any jazz-rock and psych-folk aficionados.
